✨ Mindfulness & Affirmations ✨
Start your day on a high 🙌 (and here I am with epic vibes in the pic 👇)
I feel this good! And it starts with affirmations! Ohhhhhh yesssss!
I start each day with affirmations and I call it ‘my miracle morning routine’ 💪
Affirmations are a powerful tool to help you change your mood, state of mind, and manifest the change you desire in your life.
But they work best if you can first identify the unwholesome belief that is opposing them.
Make your own affirmations.
Use “I am” to create yours!
Here are some guidelines for producing effective affirmations:
- Affirmations start with the words “I am...”
- Affirmations are positive. Never use the word ‘not’ in an affirmation.
For example, instead of writing “I am not afraid of public speaking” you could write “I am a confident speaker.”
- Affirmations are short and specific.
For example, instead of writing “I am driving a new car” you could write “I am driving a new black Range Rover.”
- Affirmations are in the present tense.
- Affirmations have a ‘feeling’ word in them.
Examples include “confidently,” “successfully,” or “gracefully.”
- Affirmations are about yourself.
- Affirmations should be about your own behaviour, never someone else’s.
Honestly, I don’t know how I would live without them! They have been pinnacle to my personal transformation and they are known as “scientific prayer” (for the very reason that this is science peeps, yups, rewiring the mind) 🙏
“Happiness comes from you.
No one else can make you happy.
You make you happy.”
Quote taken from my first book Pure Confidence.
